A GRADE – PLANED PRODUCTS

Moisture: 6 % ± 2 % after production, in our yard
Grading: Pine (pinus Sylvestris) graded from the heart side and edges. Spruce (Picea Abies) graded from the SAP side and edges.
Width ± 0,5 mm
The influence of a single defect is evaluated by looking at the overall quality of the product. Board is rejected if its overall look remarkably differs from the general quality requirements. Several maximum defects in one product are allowed if the overall look remains acceptable. Delivery may include 3% of defective boards. In general, 80 mm ends of the boards, are not sorted. Natural shade variation, unlimited size and number of live knits, heart line are allowed. However, the end-matched products are an exception.

B GRADE – PLANED PRODUCTS
Raw Material: Pine (Pinus Sylvestris), Spruce (Picea Abies)
End use: Decking, External Cladding, Window Trims
Moisture: 6 % ± 2 % after production, in our yard
Grading: Pine (pinus Sylvestris) graded from the heart side and edges. Spruce (Picea Abies) graded from the SAP side and edges.
Length -10 mm, + 30 mm Warp: 15 mm / 2 m (bow)
In general B-quality boards have a good appearance. However, individual pieces do not fulfil A-quality requirements because the boards include one or more larger defects. Fully broken pieces are not accepted in B-quality. B-quality can easily be upgraded into A-quality grade by cutting off the defects.
Allowed defects on the façade side of the B grade board:
AB GRADE – PLANED PRODUCTS
This grade results from AB-quality sawn material which is planed but not sorted. AB-quality contains up to 30% of B-quality boards.
C GRADE – PLANED PRODUCTS
C grade consists of rejects which do not comply with the B-quality parameters. The boards might be broken, might have severe longitudinal cracks, a lot of empty knotholes or other severe mechanical defects.
All grade delivery may include 3% of defective boards.
Any quality feedback must be made within 14 days of delivery.
