European Oak (Quercus petraea)

Width ± 0.6 mm
Lipping (between elements) ± 0.3 mm
Relative wood humidity (RH) in stock 8% +/- 3%
GRADE
RUSTIC
Allowed characteristics:
– Sound or cracked filled knots Ø up to 65 mm
– Filled knotholes Ø up to 35 mm
– Filled cracks
– Occasional sapwood or heartwood
– Changes in wood grain
Woodworm, mechanical defects, and mold are not allowed.
The knot filler changes colour when oiled. It absorbs the oil and pigment and adapts to the colour of the flooring. However, the knot filler does not change colour when lacquered.
Colour
Due to natural changes in wood grain and chemical structure, the colour of the product may differ slightly from the showroom samples.
We will not take responsibility for the flooring defects which occur due to incorrect storage, installation, maintenance, or other factors which are not caused by the producer.

Top layer: European Oak (Quercus petraea), 3,5 mm / 6 mm
Base: moisture resistant birch plywood, 11,5 mm / 15 mm

Mixed lengths: ≥ 80% 1400-2400 mm, ≤ 20% iki 1400 mm

Engineered wood flooring is produced in accordance with Standard of the European Union DIN EN 13489 : 2003
Width ± 0.2 mm
Lipping (between elements) ± 0.2 mm Squareness deviation ≤ 0.2% mm

Relative wood humidity (RH) in stock 8% +/- 3%
Engineered floorboards may arch slightly, up to 15 mm, but must easily straighten when installed.
GRADING
Our oak flooring is graded into Select / Rustic A.
SELECT
Allowed characteristics:
– Sound knots Ø up to 10 mm,
– Occasional sapwood up to 10 mm,
– Changes in wood grain.
Sapwood, woodworm, and mold are not allowed.
